Do you know every part of your heart?
Do you know the areas that hide from God or run from people who feel hard to love?
How do you feel toward the aspects of yourself that you would rather not see?
Or the things you've done that you just want to forget?
If how well you love yourself, determines how well you can love your neighbor, and to love your neighbor is the 2nd greatest commandment,
then how well do you love yourself?
How much space do you hold for Compassion and Mercy,
for Understanding and Concern?
Do you struggle to forgive yourself?
Do you hold yourself to impossible standards and come down hard on yourself when you fail to meet them?
There's a way forward.
It doesn't have to be this way. Life doesn't have to always feel so unremittingly hard.
Come work with me.
The work I do is to help people better know and understand themselves so they can love themselves from a place of compassionate curiosity, love and understanding. Once that foundation is established, they are more free to love God and others and to live their lives as the gift it was intended to be!
In short, they are free to love and to live.
Listen to the video above ^^ to hear my side of how coaching can truly help you become who you are.
My coaching consists of a blend of several approaches informed by cognitive-behavioral methods and internal family systems, but it starts with a simple awareness of the interior life - your thoughts and emotional experiences. These are the things that drive our behavior and yet often elude us. This awareness is often what is needed to truly start to desire real change and to find the courage to do the work.
